Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I like the Jersey.

Regardless of the midfield pairing, I'm confident of a solid win today. A badly needed kick up the arse for the season! Utd 3-1

Wickham or Rooney to score please, or both :)

  • Always thought John O' Sheas move to Sunderland was a great purchase by Poyet. Great for the ROI.

Sunderland looking tactically astute so far.

focusing their attacks on the two makeshift wingbacks.

I don't know who else people expected to start today? It was obvious since Herreras injury that the two of them would start today.

My disappointment is based on there being no option but to pick that 2. We should have better options but no one signed. On a side note really annoyed when players perform well in preseason and then play a ball like that...a young

Mata too easily dispossessed from the throw in.

It's almost like Young and Valencia aren't wing backs

  • First time I have spotted cleverly play a forward pass in about a year

United really lacking someone to create something in midfield pitty mata can't be that someone!

Phil Jones does not believe in marking his man.

They don't know the position at all. High-risk passes, too tight to their man, out of position and no experience in the back line to keep them in check.

    This could be grim

Can't believe the twit Cleverly is still in this team.

the last 3 minutes sum up Tom Cleverley.

    terrible shot.
    terrible pass.
safest of safe passes when there's a chance of a counter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,929 ✭✭✭KH25

Young Cleverley and Valencia are three of the worst players I have ever seen.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

12 minutes in and Cattermole hasn't been sent off yet.

    Huh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,799 ✭✭✭FortuneChip

    Rooney should not be captain.
He couldn't organise... something that's easy to organise!

    Noticed all that myself.
He picks it up in midfield with a chance to turn and run at defence, instead he holds onto it,turns back and passes to our defender.
He is a f**king curse on this team.
