Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sunderland have signed Neuer.

Gomez with the theatrical one there was given a free by the ref. Strange how your arm being held can make your legs go up in the air.

Neville is the one that says, go to ground and win a free kick or peno for your team.

Outside of finishing (and that is a big thing for a forward obviously) Welbeck really has a lot of talent. Such a shame that had to land to ****ing Young.

If that's our worst midfield of the modern era, surely then is Rooney our worst captain?

If that's your attempt at logic, you failed.

Don't be giving Ed Woodward any ideas

Sunderland seem to be happy with a point and are committing less people to attacks I think. Whether utd have enough about them to take advantage though is questionable. Rooney has been pretty anonymous so far.

United are probably going to nick this. Sunderland look tired.

More chance of getting a spice bag then a decent cm.

He's been like that for about two years now. Since van Persie was signed he's been pretty poor

a proper Rooney would've hit that waaaaay earlier.

3pts are there if someone commits to beating their man on the wing instead of passing it ****ing sideways some more.

Rooney has looked out of sorts in both games. No fire or drive

Has LVG actually gotten up out of his seat at any stage today? Looks lost.

Woulda won €240 if Utd won this game.

More stupidity from Phil Jones... give it to DEC!

And then Neville calls him our best player today.

Can we just refer to him as 'Free Pass' from now on?

Utd should have sold him last summer when they had the opportunity of getting big money for him from PSG or Chelsea.
He isnt worth his place in the team and upsets the sides balance.

Sunderland will be pretty disappointed if they come away with less than 3 points.

It's like a group stage game in a knockout tournament where both teams would progress with a point. No urgency from anyone really.

Regardless of what happens in the next few minutes, Lee Cattermole has been man of the match. Anyone who says he's just a thug, quite frankly, doesn't have a ****ing clue.

Not a big injury, but enough for other players to push him way, way down the pecking order. 4 weeks or so just tp get him out of the picture asap, because if he has to play himself out it is going to be ugly, ugly stuff.

  • Its a sad day when Jones and Blackett are our best players.

    Moyes must be laughing

Valencia beats his man for the goal and then spends the next hour refusing to try it again. Baffling.

I hate to say it but this match has just been painful to watch, nearly as bad a a stinker from the Moyes era.

Honestly what does he even do on the pitch. I was watching him the last few minutes and he seems to more or less stand in or around the center circle the entire time. Never calls for the ball and when he gets it, just passes it to the nearest person who is sideways / behind him.

No drive to get forward. No desire to get ball. No pace whatsoever. More or less jogs from one side of the center circle to the other. Sigh...

Almost as if it wasn't all down to Moyes last year.

    That'll do.

Took us 10 games to earn 2 points last year IIRC.

50 percent of the time it works every time.

Awful game to watch, I felt Sunderland gave United too much respect. I thought there was 3 points there for the taking if they were a bit more positive.
