Looking at it from a neutral point of view, the ref is definately with Kerry. The amount of soft frees is unreal and the two pelenties weren't deserved. Then Mayo aren't getting very obvious frees.

agree. as a GENUINE nuetral Dub, I thought the Ref gave Kerry a lot of soft decisions. And to cap it all, the only player to see red from all the brawls is a Mayo man.

BJ Keane and O'Leary should not have been left on the pitch. A lesson to be learned for the final. Johnathan Lyne and Pa Kilkenny were absolutely fantastic. Kieran Donaghy undoubtedly the game changer though.


What was that about "old tired Kerry legs" everyone was harping on about all year? Kerry won this game due to their bench and fitness. Well done to them and a big test for Dublin in the final.

As a Limerick man... Watching simply because it's on in Limerick, and completely neutral, the ref gifted Kerry the game. The two soft frees before HT in ET... Coupled with Mayos 2 misses should have put 4 between them.

Anybody see the young lad getting pushed over at the bottom of the screen just after the final whistle.. RTE pulled away from it of course and didnt mention it on commentary..

Kerry got to a final no one expected them to with a team mainly of young players, the few old guys mainly injuried and without Cooper. Mayo will be haunted by that lost for years, still a team with only one forward in O'Connor.

I just can't see Dublin losing it now.
