    Hi scuby

There is yet to be an official launch date agreed for these two cabinets, I have been advised that it should be around late October to early November however this is only an indication at this moment in time.

    Thanks

    Hi Barra,

As advised on previous post: Hi BArra

That map is indicative of dates where upon completion is indicated at wholesale level only and not intended to suggest when the cabinets will be able to provide efibre to the public - the launch date for public efibre availability is still yet to be agreed but indications suggest it should be ready before the end of 2014

one of the residents in the estate, who is an ex-Eircom worker now with KN, completed the site survey and submitted plans to Cork Co CO, who signed off and left KN progress with installing the ducting, electricity connections for the cabinets. a few weeks ago the cabinets and Eircom engineers were hooking up the cabling etc and still there is no sold time line when the e-fibre will be available !

so will end of 2014 now be 31st Dec !!

thanks Alan, reading between the lines here but pending the cabs are live on a wholesale level as of 1st Oct, isnt the procedure that other telecom companies are given a months notice, meaning in and around the start of November 14 the public 'should' be able to place an order

I will not be able to offer wholesale details or procedures I'm afraid Barra. As there is yet to be agreed or scheduled launch date it would be impossible to confirm this but the information I obtained advising that it should be ready by the end of the year was given to me as an indication by efibre planning. Hopefully you are correct and hopefully it will be ready by November but there’s no confirmed date yet.

    Thanks
    Al
