    Hi guys,

I've been trying the last couple of months to get my band on Balcony TV. We've just released an EP, and I was told by friends that was how they got the slot. Anybody with any experience on how they book artists/bands. I would consider Dublin the easiest to get to, but would travel for a slot! :o

Have you tried contacting them? The fact you have an EP out would be reason enough to go on it. I can't imagine it's that hard to get on?

If you go to each location page, there seems to be contact details for each one. For example, look at Tralee:

Emailed all of them yesterday at 6pm, but no reply yet. Had the same issue last time I applied, maybe they scout talent, i'm not sure

I'm not sure. As far as I know, you apply, and you can get on? The fact you said you released an EP, I take it you worked with a producer, and got it mixed and mastered? Therefore, there has been some quality control along the way.
