Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I imagine the utd dressing room will be like when homer takes over the schoolboys american football team in the simpsons

"You're cut", "you, you're cut too" "anderson you are definitely cut"

    redcafe servers have blown up.

    thanks for the redcaf updates.

    Obsessed, embarrassing.

I wouldn't read a whole lot into this as it's a game in which they've played 2 or 3 first choice players at best.

That said, it's crazy to think that a Fergie side beat Arsenal 2-0 a few years ago in the cup with Fabio, O'Shea, Gibson and Rafael as the 4 man midfield.

Its ok, MK will lose to Peterborough in the next round
No idea who I'd want to win that one!

  • Anderson is stealing a living at Utd. Atrocious player.
I would love to know what he earns a week. He's such a a joker / bluffer.

Now let's see what VG says...no excuses really outplayed by a League 1 side.

Worst I've felt after a game for a long time, other fans enjoy it, I know if the roles were reversed I'd be slagging other teams

Tonnes of class from MK Dons manager in keeping composed, I'd be going full on Barry Fry if I were in his shoes!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,627 ✭✭✭Sgt Pepper 64

So "King" LVG record is played 3.....lost 2...drawn 1

    easy start to the season!

Christ on a bike. I just switched this on. I know this is largely a second string but it must be some shock to LVG. Maybe it will strengthen his position with the board to get more bodies in, but defenders and a good CM or two is whats needed, not Di Maria, as good as he is.

Never mind Liverpool. But even the most hardcore united fan can surely understand why this is funny to watch for most neutrals?

Depends on your sense of humour.
    It's just a shambles.
I might agree with you if it was a great united side being caught cold, but this united side is just crap... Ha ha

    Glazers Out!

All part of the plan; Burnley will think they will only have to turn up at the weekend and kaboom 3points in the bag for Utd.

I think £200m more is needed on players that squad is so poor.

Did u have money on it? :D

    Unfortunately not :-( haha

Less than 5 weeks of Anderson's salary.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

Anderson gives hope to anyone aspiring to become a professional footballer.

  • Fair play and well done to MK Dons.
A thoroughly deserved win and they absolutely embarrassed us.

    Anderson & Hernandez....

The writing is on the cards for these two surely.

The only positives (if there is any) to take form this was the subs Wilson and Pereira and at least tried to create opportunities.

God, that was great. Some performance by MK Dons. They played some great ball at times.

To see massive underdogs beat Utd in a cup game, pretty obvious. Opposition fans are loving Utd's decline and rightly so, it won't last forever lets face it :)

Well deserved by MK Dons, they were brilliant

The Guinness International Cup Champions humbled tonight.

Despise United, but I have to say, tonight is the first time when I've felt a tiny shred of pity for their fans. United are basically Liverpool after Benitez got sacked. It wasn't until we got Rodgers in, we had someone who recognized the problems and he took action. Like Rodgers, I think LVG (if he is the right man) needs to be given support to basically get rid of half the squad.

Worst thing about this is that Southend United are no longer the only team in England with a positive record against Manchester United.

People crediting Van Gaal for signing autographs at the end there, but can we be sure he wasn't just trying to sign them up?

Apologies. Evans, Anderson, Young, Nani, Welbeck, Fletcher, Cleverley, etc. - no problems there, all top players obviously.

Would have been an improvement on most of the players he had on the pitch.

ITV don't have the terrestrial rights (the Beeb have them). There's a highlights programme tomorrow night at 11:05. Didn't check the comedy channel!

Same reason you would be delighted if Liverpool were humiliated by the MK Dons
