Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Should there be a different point system for the final?

    If there is a different point system for the final, does anybody have any suggestions?

    If a point system change was to happen I would need the support of all competitors

    Also it should not negate the results so far obtained by the competitors

    Speaking of this you didn't select if Wales or Portugal will win in the penalties

    Really... seems a bit mad. You select the correct score over 120 min but the pens decide if you get the 3 points. Woulda thought a 4th point for pens woulda made more sense.

    A stop been mad tourny. I know before the quarters i had picked the most correct results but can't get a correct score to save my life lol

    I had been considering this but by the time I was thinking about this the knock-out stages had already begun and I felt it was too late to make any changes

    For some time I was thinking that a different point system for the tournament should have been used

    It is unfair about the prediction which was correct at the end of extra-time not to have been awarded because of the penalties and all I can think is if I did another competition I would use a different point system

    For the semi-finals upwards an additional point can be got if correctly guessing if a game is won either by penalties or by playing time

    If you correctly predict the win by penalties you get an extra point

    and/or

    If you correctly predict the win in playing time (ordinary time and/or extra-time) you get an extra point

    This point will be added on to the 1 point or 3 points won already

    Seen as there was no agreement to this I'll have to continue using the old point system I've being using through out the entire competition
