So far, one person has matched, but not paid more than I did. Though I did make the mistake of not shopping around. Everyone just said that nobody but Quinn would insure me. It dropped from 4700 to 2700 in year 2 though and has gone down pretty much every year since, with small rises if I changed cars.

Robbed blind. Barely paid that much for the bloody car. Quinns were the only one that would quote me anything "reasonable". Some of the quotes from the likes of Axa were eye-watering.

My very first insurance was 3,500 IRL punts, for 3rd party fire and theft, the cheapest I could get. The highest quote I got was 5,700 IRL punts from Quinn direct.

I was driving a 1.3 petrol bog standard Daihatsu Charade that cost me IRL 1,000.

I remember some people saying to me their mortgage payments were cheaper than my monthly insurance payments. 400 pounds per month it cost me.
