Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

apparently appointed as Palace new boss - I grudgingly admired the job Pullis did there , but now Warnock ! - Steve Parish seams to like all the media attention and not give a toss about the perception of his club - they were onto something good last season. Good riddance now

Rubbish appointment, probably won't last the season and if he does they'll get relegated.

Puncheon will be a decent signing for someone.

    Palace to go down

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    Palace to go down
Will be someone else's fault though. Definitely not Warnock's. As usual.

Poor Palace fans, such a great end to last season and now this..

7/4 for Palace to be relegated looks a pretty decent bet.

No but 12 months ago Tony Pulis was satan to a lot of people.

I havent seen much of him courting the media. It was Pulis and Mackay/Cardiff that were making the news. Is it because the TV Camera's pan to him 2 million times a game?

That's a dire appointment, he is a really poor EPL manager, great man to get you promoted but that's it.

    Unless you're Leeds!

I think Parish appointed him just to piss off Puncheon or something, amazing how many times that happens with players and managers who don't like each other.

Poor appointment though. Can't see too many of those Palace players 'up' for playing for Warnock really, that's something Pulis really had an effect on last year.

Imagine how the likes of Brede Hangeland and Martin Kelly must feel. They sign for a club with a decent manager and then this guy gets the job only weeks after they sign up.

I can see a lot of players wanting out before the window closes. Puncheon obviously will be demanding out immediately.

Warnock is easily the slimiest man managing in England this side of Harry.

I just don't understand how any sane manager could give him the job. There are plenty out there who might do a good job and are surely looking for work.

    My heart bleeds.

I suppose that their tens of thousands of pounds wages a week might be some consolation, while there is a change of management at their employer.

Amazed he got the job over Steve Clarke. Even Brian McDermott might have been a decent shout.

Wouldn't trust Warnock to keep a team in the league. Feel for Palace fans but they'll probably go and beat us on Saturday.

I raise you a Steve Evans (Rotherham).
