The death has just been announced of former Limerick County Councillor Mary Harty. No link just yet. I got to know Mary personally during my time in UL and soon realised just what a special lady she was and a true asset to the community. I know everyone might not share her politics but she was a lady.

RIP, Motor Neuron Disease (MND) is a horrible disease, I hope everyone took part in the ice bucket challenge and donated.
