Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well tell that to the ex Liverpool players worst bunch ever. They can't hide their love for their club i.e Carragher and Thompson.

Great to score before half time, I was nervy a few times with the peno shouts (both weren't) and our defence seems to be still on holiday but Wilshire has done well as has the OX.

Dont forget Aldridge, his pieces in the Sunday World are embarrassing.

Debuchy gets the ball there for me. Don't know what Redknapp is banging on about there.

I'd take Wiltshire off before his stupid tackling gets him sent off

    He slipped.

He gives real presence. I've been surprised just how good he has been. Strong and has a bite. Positionally he needs to keep being aware though I think.

Delighted for Alexis. Great play from Jack but he has been terrible all half. Lucky to not have given away a pen. Monreal and DEbuchy playing really well. Kos and Per are all over the place. Hopefully this opens it up now.

Actually he has improved on the previous performances this season. If he calms down and starts to play it simple he could do very well in the second half.

Besiktas have to come at us now, hopefully we get a second goal early in the 2nd half. I don't think I could handle 1-0 still in the last 10 minutes!!!

Alan Smith is an ex-Gunner and he's never been impartial.

He can be very critical of Arsensl

Back home for the second half happy days, what have I missed? :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

I don't mind pundits being critical of Arsenal.
I don't like them being critical because we're Arsenal.

RTE bunch are the worse for that and I add Jamie Carragher to that bunch.

It's funny. When Wiltshere broke through it was Ramsey who was crap. Now it's the other way around.

Two of them are great players IMO, everyone goes through a rough patch.

Definitely suits Arsenal a lot more than Newcastle anyway. As I said before in thread, he's prone to some absolute howlers sometimes but that could also be down to the players he was around with us.

Wish the lad well as he was an absolute monster for us at times.

I'd say he'll be put on for Sanchez for at least 15 minutes. Alexis has run his legs off.

Wilshere starting to show signs of producing those attacking plays he used to do frequently before that long injury lay off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

    Should have passed
