A bride, cheaper than Thai brides but better quality usually and most of the time they are sold fully trained in on the kitchen and cleaning functions.

It's where the expression "ride me sideways" came from.

That really is hilarious. I bet you make everyone laugh with stuff like that.

Mod: You posted in AH. Witty replies are to be expected sometimes. If you want serious replies then you should post this thread in a more appropriate forum. Don't lash out at posters here though.
There's no point in me moving this thread now as it's gone too far.

If you're going to Hong Kong, then I believe there may be electronics bargains to be had. Otherwise, foreign named brands of anything (except McDonald's) are expensive. For example, Apple products are 20% MORE EXPENSIVE THAN IRELAND even though they're made in Shanghai.

You could get some decent duty free on the way out and back. Otherwise, just keep your eyes peeled for local tat you like the look of.

Me? I bought some socks in Uniqlo, some Feiyue plims, local tea, a handwoven scarf from one of the southern provinces. Just bits, really. If you're going to any of those places like Dali, Lijiang, they're tourist traps and are basically outdoor shopping centres mostly full of awful tat.

If you are in hong kong look at getting Cameras lenses like a 300-500mm zoom lens. should be able to get a decent spec laptop cheaply too. they will european power connectors for it too. look for gopro copies of action cameras if you do any outdoor activities.

I gave you a suggestion in post 30 but you're too busy looking through the thread to find other posts to be offended about.

    Talk about gratitude.

The first thing worth buying when you consider going to China is a one way ticket to the place.

You'd probably find a good deal on a wife/girlfriend in some of Chinas less well off parts.

Quality probably about the same as here.
But you'll get much better service and less hassle.

OP whilst you seem somewhat uptight i will give my $0.02 irregardless- I was in China with a group of from work around May and the advice from ex pats and co-workers we knew there was surprise, surprise most of the stuff is ****e and will fall apart soon enough.
The main knock off items recommended then were designer handbags and clothes.
Another popular item was beats speakers and headphones which cost a fraction of the price over there. check them with your phone to see if the bluetooth works properly before purchase. While the speaker sets are meant to have four speakers within most of the knock off ones only have one or two. Most of it will cost you **** all anyway, so don't worry too much about it.
