Hi all, does anybody know of any companies in Dublin that install upvc windows and you can pay monthly. Or does it exist in Ireland. I know it's popular in the uk but haven't had much luck finding a company here.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I never heard of such an arrangement here. I imagine few companies could afford it - too much risk of people not paying.

You would probably get poor value for money and a bank / credit union load would be better financially.

If money is tight / the loan amount limited, consider replacing the worst windows first and do low cost remedial work on the others. For aesthetic reasons, it is probably best to replace all the windows on one wall / view and the same time.

Try to get the best energy rating you can afford. Ensure bedroom windows are suitable for escape use and bathroom / kitchen windows allow adequate ventilation of smells and moisture. Other rooms should allow some passive ventilation. It is preferable to have secure fixings on windows that are accessible from the outside. Low level windows and roof lights should have appropriate safety glass and leaded glass should have security glass behind it. With any matching doors, ensure the locks / fittings are adequate.

A good installer will know this, but there are cowboys out there.
