    LAST JUNIOR PIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS QUALIFIER TOMORROW
    The last qualifying competition of the 2014 Junior National Pike Championships will be held tomorrow, Saturday 30th on the Town Lake in Bailieboro in County Cavan. Check in at the lakeside from 10.30 for fishing 11.30 to 2.30. The Final will be held on Saturday 6th September. For more details on tomorrows qualifier phone Pat O`Grady on 0862718293
    The Junior National Pike Championships consist of a number of qualifying competitions and a Final. Clubs host qualifiers where youngsters can enter free of charge and if the catch a pike they are through to fish in the Final which is usually held on the last Saturday in August or the first Saturday in September. Entrants do not have to be a member of an affiliated club, It is open to all. There are 2 sections Under 13 and Under 18. At qualifiers there will be trophies for the top 3 anglers in each Section. In the Final there will be around €2,000 worth of tackle prizes to be presented along with a Cup for the winner of each Section.

    Hi john, I have seen the venue for the final and went up for a scout last night is there contact details of someone in charge, thanks.
