Well it is his job to get them up to speed with it. I am surprised his ideas aren't beginning to come through by now. Still no signs of improvement.

The point of the system is that the backs have a 4th passing option at the back thus reducing the pressure on the back line from teams pressing us at the back.

The very idea is to pull the opposition team forward to create more space up front and to make it easier to play the ball out from the back.

It allows the wide backs to push further upfield in the build up play as well.
