Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need to mind Di Maria so it makes sense. Same with RVP

I'd rather a shattered Di Maria to a fully 'fit' Anderson, any day.

I'd rather an uninjured Di Maria

Di Maria has just realised how big a step down he's just taken.

Brutal performance. (The team not di Maria)

I think Blacketts been our most positive player lol. Impressive for a cb.

    Penalty call
    Blackett yellow card

Wonder if Di Maria will be able to adapt to the Championship next year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

I expect Welbeck to make a difference, especially against this now tired Burnley defence.

    Valencia and his pile drivers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,687 ✭✭✭Danger781

Sigh.. Valencia is so predictable.. Square up the defender / full back.. Belt it with his right foot and hope it gets past the defender..

No skill. No ability. Just hit and fecking hope.

It's a sign of how bad things are that I'm glad to see Welbeck coming on.:o

Pretty terrible all round. Di Maria was great though which is the only positive! You'd think LVG or Giggs would get up off their seats and do something, looked uninterested the whole game.

Why won't the wingbacks RUN FORWARD!? It's baffling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

    What was Evans doing there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,006 ✭✭✭edgecutter

Marney should be off. Kicking the ball away earlier and didn't get booked

    What is Evans at

Marney should be off kicked the ball away when called offside.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,536 ✭✭✭case885

De gea should have come off his line

Phil Jones looks like he's just waiting for an invitation.

That would involve referees having the slightest bit of balls though, having said that sometimes I think they're told not to.

Is Van Gaal watching Netflix on his iPad he seems more interested in that than watching the match.

Because neither Young or Valencia are good enough. Both nowhere near good enough to be the in the first team.

So was DiMaria too slim for the Premier League? Didn't see the match. He reminds me of a fella Liverpool would buy who you think is great but would flop. He is a grand player though.

This is nailed on to be the last match on MOTD tonight. Absolute snoozefest!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

This 3-5-1-2 will be another animal altogether if you have wingbacks who can play. Jesus, Young and Valencia make me mad.

He's gonna need steel in there beside him. Some good touches and passes. United have to sign a powerful box to box midfielder.

I'd love to see Januzaj come on for Mata, but it looks like nothing will change atm.

Owen making the point i was just thinking about valencia...
Wtf is it withhom just smashing the ball against the opponent?? Take him on ta f**k, beat him with pace and get a clear cross in.

Not at all. He plays aggressive enough that his stature won't be an issue, even more so with where on the pitch he plays.

Give him a few weeks and he'll be flying, especially when United have a lot of their players back and available again.
