Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Talksport apparently saying that Balotelli was sent to the dressing room by Mike Marsh during the warm-up for kicking the ball at Moreno's face and acting the maggot. Only just turned on the match, any signs of Balo on the bench?

Markovic has definately been the worst signing of the trasnfer window considering the money spent.

Makes Balo look like a bargain buy.

You would have sold Bale if you were Tottenham manager.

    Youre Harry

Coutinho having a go at Lambert for standing still.

I really want to believe that he's a rough diamond and will end up being ridiculously good but every game makes it harder and harder. And yes he's young but it's the physicality that worries me. You can be the quickest, most skilful player around but if you can't hold your own in a challenge or shy away from making them then the British game will be harder and harder and the media & fans will start getting on his back.

Still have him at 10/1 to score first tonight. Really want to believe in him

Id say this game would have been a perfect game to play Emre Can in too to help get him up to speed after his injury

They were both having a good laugh together on the bench in the first half.

Young players, even expensive ones, require patience

Yep there was a shot of him and Can having a laugh then Mario leant back and said something to Moreno (sitting directly behind) and they both laughed. Nothing story probably

    Who though.

    That I dont know.
But surely its plausible that with c. 36m the team of scouts/transfer committee/Brendan Rodgers could have came up with a quality player.
Sanchez seems to be the only one that any attempt was made to entice.

Apparently Cardiff are Swansea's northern neightbours

Either that or Moreno has an extremely good sense of humour and could laugh about getting a belt of the ball in the face

Just saw that Moussa Dembele scored two for Fulham tonight.

Why is he playing in the championship and not in our midfield?

Because he is a different Moussa Dembele.

And Moussa Dembele is overrated anyway imo

I agree with you alright that the money could have been spent better but I can't think of any world class strikers that would have come or their wages would have been an issue. It was always going to be a gamble.

You could list every player who has played well and ask that question, but what the hell would be the point?

Swansea's front three having a howler so far. Cue a goal.

Dont look like scoring at all. Lambert really is pointless.

We freed up £200k a week when Luis left that would have gone a long way to paying a world class strikers wages.

Looked an absolute class act around the time of his move to Spurs. His performances seemed to drop near the end of his time there but maybe that was part to do with decreased game time as Spurs loaded up on midfielders.

Sakho will surely be out the gap, in January or is he injured?

200k isn't world class anymore though. Most of the utd team are on that. I can't think of any top class strikers that were available.

Better the calibre of player, the less the risk imo

BR should be testing out Borini and Balotelli soon. Borini hasn't been bad at all, but Lambert isn't up to much.
