Just read a piece about it on TAW now. We don't need a mascot but those lads over at TAW are ridiculously up their own arses.

At times some of them are but I defo agree with them about this. My kids would rather meet some young fella from Liverpool u14s than a mascot. Fair enough have him at the schools and family days if you want but he shouldn't be near Anfield on match day.

Ah ****e didn't realise Can got injured on international duty too, the other two lads are expected to be fit by the time the Middlesborough match comes around.

Hopefully, really need to rotate the squad its a lot of games to be playing!!

Rodgers was saying that he'll be heavily rotating the squad over the next week.

Be interesting to see what a non-England playing Stevie G is like :)

Lot of russled jimmies over a mascot.

Think a lot of folk are equating their masqulinity with going to matches.

I can't believe I'm less of a man in your googled eyes. I never thought this would happen :(

But I suppose finglas heads and townies will always clash at some point. It is inevitable.

Sturridge out of Fantasy Football. Balotelli in.

Captain that team, son.

Having no arse in your trousers can be beneficial at times when following Liverpool. Half the time fans are ****ting a brick watching the games, so it would be less messy.
A lot of barstools will be furthered stooled however.

Was comfort-watching LFC there for a few mins....best ever back-to-back combo on "Goals Goals Goals"....Patrik Berger followed by Alonso

Berger celebrated every goal like he'd just won the World Cup or saved the planet

Just catching up with the Sturridge stuff. Disgraceful carry on. Liverpool should refuse to play ball with the English FA if that's how they are going to behave. Sterling, Sturridge and Henderson should start pulling up with "injuries" before all international friendlies from now on.

Probably a bit unrealistic.

Most English players will love playing for their country.

Wonder how many of them would if you said "Fine but if you get injured on international duty we're not paying you while you're out"

Do the FA still compensate the club if a player is injured while on international duty?

It could have been a dream or when I was coming down of the mitzys that I thought of it.

I suppose the good news about all the injuries is that a lot of other teams seem to be having similar problems at the moment.

The difference was that they had the squads to handle it but hopefully now we do too.

No it was definately suggested at one point. I expect what happened was Sepp and the boys quickly crushed the idea.

Sorry Kid I'm 5 years older than you :(
I have been lucky to see some of the best club teams ever.
IMHO the 3 best Liverpool Teams of my time watching are in order
The 1988/89 team
The Liverpool double winning team.
The EC winning team 80/81 beating Real Madrid in Paris( was sure that it was in Madrid, memory must be failing me)

While outside England.
The Barca Team.
The AC Milan 1989/90 team of Barasi, Maldini, Rikard, Van Basten,Gullit.
The 12/13 Bayern Team
Snap:D

And i had better snap for Stargate also;)

Sorry Dickerty, you're just another noob:p

I think the argument was, for smaller FA's the cost could bankrupt them. Imagine the Welsh FA having to compensate Real Madrid for 6 months of Bale's wages if he got injured on International duty.

"As we move down the path towards making a signing, we co-ordinate with merchandising - have we got enough [iron-on] 'O's, have we got enough 'L's?"

This is a pressing matter! :pac:

Mozdarec..... are you planning to do your table again this year? Found that quite good last season.

Sure yeah I'll whack one up after the end of this coming gameweek and I'll try to keep it updated weekly from then on.

Think the idea of top 7 tier and bottom 13 tier is still relevant this season (maybe even more so than last)

The team I would like to see tomorrow.

Mignolet

Manquillo--Lovren
Sakho--Moreno

Gerrard

Henderson
Lallana

Coutinho

Sterling
Balotelli

^^^^^^^^ Nobody likes a copycat.
=Pilsbury Doughboy;92116190]For Villa I'd go.....

_____________________Mignolet_______________________

Manquillo__________Lovren_________Sakho_______________Moreno

_______________________Gerrard________________________

_______________Hendo____________Lallana_______________

______________________Coutinho________________________

________________Sterling________Balotelli_____________

Villa have played us off the park the last 2 years, I'd hope with Hendo and Lallana in there that they will get in amongst their midfielders and not let them walk through us again, I'm very nervous about this game, even with the team I picked there is a lot of question marks, it'd be Lallana's first game, Balo only settling in, Sterling playing up top etc etc.... I can see it being a bit of a nail biter.
Quite shocked at the damage done from the international games. Yet the squad is still looking strong enough to handle it, just goes to show the quality business Rodgers did in the Summer. The only concern is CM but there's no way Rodgers could account for losing 2 CMs in one week.

Three eggs, a splash of full fat milk, some pepper, get the pan hot and stir like crazy so it'll be airy rather than lumpy and then reduce the heat and finish off :)

HT 0-3 Kent, Ojo, Yesil. Cracking stuff, who needs the senior side I say. So much pace and verve going forward and a fair bit of space at the back for the opposition to play with :pac: I was quite unimpressed with Ojo in his first year or so but bit by bit he's showing what potential he has as an all round attacking player. Looks like he can play any one of 4/5 positions.

Ojo is a great prospect. Improving alot in the last year & has blistering pace.
