Has anyone had one of these
Would it be any good as a security light in winter? would it chargee enough and how long would leds last

"Illuminated time is 70 minutes with a fully charged battery. Equivalent to 720 switching momentss on minimum setting of 10sec." So if it came on a couple time in a night would it fully recharge the next day

there is no real information about that fitting on the link you sent.

We need to know at least three things about an LED fitting before we can judge it.

    1) how many times it can be switched (in the thousands)
    2) Its output in Lumens you would expect 300 for this to be any kind of a security light
    3) the lumen maintenance factor, a factor to measure the deterioration rate of the LEDs over time, if its LM70 over 2 years would mean that in 2 years it will be at least 70% as "bright" as it was when you first put it up.

Many cheaper fittings have LM factors of 50 or even 40, this is a rubbish score. No point in a lamp lasting you 5 years if its looses 60% of its output.

Usually the good fitting print all this information on the box as they did the R&D. Cheapo fittings with poor scores don't print this info, they just use words like free light and long lasting etc.
