Gas installation on the big green

Has anyone any info on the planning notice, dated August 27th and recently erected towards the top of the big green in Charlesland, about a gas installation? A cabinet "of 1.85m " and a "pipe of 3.8m" I believe? Is it going in the middle of the green/ by the path? Pity to ruin the open space, especially with a tall outlet…
