Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sturridge was brilliant there.

Get in get in... lets shut those spurs fans up with their silly slow song...

Why are we holding such a high line

What was Kaboul doing though for that goal? Kept everyone on side whilst not marking anybody. Poor defending.

    Well worked goal for Sterling

    Two things about the goal.

    1) Kaboul should have stepped up when Sturridge took the extra touch before playing Hendo through.
    2) That goal wouldn't have happened without the extra striker on the pitch. Both CB's had a look for where Balo was first, and it allowed Sterling the extra yard at the back stick.

Great play from Liverpool though, and pass from Hendo.

    Ah Sturridge should have passed

Another sweet attack. Excellent by Sterling before slipping the ball to Sturridge

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

Great shot but maybe passing it was a better option?

This formation is much better for Liverpool.

Sterling at the front of diamond is much better than Coutinho

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

Sterling and Sturridge on the same wavelength. Very promising to see.

    Defensively we still look frail.

I'm hoping its because of a completely new back line.

Both teams looking good on the ball so far

He's well able to deal with the defenders, Cou isn't strong enough in that position.

Just going back to the goal, I've talked about Hendo as the runner from the middle who gets beyond the strikers and that was a perfect example.

@InfostradaLive: 0-1: Liverpool have now scored in 16 away matches in a row in the top flight, equalling the club record set in May 1987 – Mar 1988. #lfc

Sturridge and Sterling in Boss Mode . Balo a little bit ring rusty but its only a matter of time before he nods one of those in .

Gerrard's injury not as mythical as I first thought.

  • Haha sterling, nearly stepped over himself

Pleasantly surprised about how this is panning out so far. Sturridge, Mario and Sterling are going to torment a lot of defenders this season. Genuinely excited by that prospect. Still so so defensively though.

He just knocked a tenner off it anyway, with that last piece.

    Loving Lloris's kick outs

Even though ballo not playing well liverpool far better side with two up front

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,105 ✭✭✭mada999

Spurs midfield much better, they are pressing us and moving for each other. They are switching the ball to the wings which is stretching us. They are playing 1-2 touches in mid which is negating our pressing..
