This exactly. It's one of those that was both a dive and a definite peno. In my opinion that shouldn't be a penalty but the rules dictate that it is, Allen would have been stupid not to go down and Dier was stupid to do what he did. Ref had no choice.

Aye, but you don't have to go down to get the free elsewhere, so I can see why Allen did it.

Soft pen, as he did dive, but I think the ref had to give it as Dier gave him no choice.

Dier gave himself a problem by jumping wrong side, felt he had to reach in to stop Allen. Pen, all day. Cant argue Allen dived to ensure the ref saw it.

he didnt pull the jersey at all just ive seen every replay gave allen a free breast check and allen fell over with a rediclous dive

Was it not a foul? If the referee rules it to be a foul then it's a penalty.

That is true however to get a penalty you do and that the problem. You hear it time and time again anywhere else and its a free, Refs and the PL should be more thougher on it
