Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I remember posting here in 2012 and the message hasn't changed. Jim McGuinness has too many tricks up his sleeve, the man is a genius and his tactics will win this for us. He is a God and our Saint. Tír Chonaill Abú :):):)

Its a long walk up, but they have lifts, ask the stewards and they'll activate the lifts which are normally closed off. Me and my friend last year who was in crutches went up this way.

Great view, in middle of the pitch. What row? Upper tier goes A-Z.

Yer on the 21 on the Davin end, it really depends how far back you are with regards to the view. It's a far slog up to the attic, but there's a ramp as opposed to steps which takes the real pain out of the walk. Enjoy the match !

An example of what I love about the Irish:

    We have this :

Watching the wild geese making black wedges,

Their voices came on every little wind,
Whispering across the half-door of the mind,
    For always I am Kerry...

Be like that sketch they used do on the Gerry Ryan Show with the three old men

    "What are they talking about"

One fella would be on about Ghost trains and eating pigs head, another fella would be on about a Rabbite chasing a Fox around Croke Park and the last lad would be rolling off the names of the Italian soccer team of the 1990 world cup in only the way he could do it.

Never understood why they called it the ghost train when twas full of mad Kerrymen!

Never understood why they called it the ghost train when twas full of mad Kerrymen!

They were called ghost trains long a go as they left at 2 or 3am Sunday morning from the rural branch lines heading to Dublin, back then it was all train transport and there would have been dozens of charter trains running up from Kerry. Most people were asleep going up and coming down also, hence the ghost train moniker. There wasn't such an alcohol problem back then as they couldn't afford it. Tea in a glass bottle wrapped in a sock with ham sandwiches was the order of the day back in the early 20th century.

This is not a request for a live stream.

I am not looking for a link to watch the game online in the UK.

So if anyone knows of one, do not feel the need to PM me.

I know of plenty but I'm not going to tell you.

No proper "Gael" should be out of the country on All Ireland final day.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

    Its not for me Tod.

I'm heading down the pub here in Galway to watch it with my fellow 'Proper Gaels' and a few strays. :)

A friend of mine is on a train from Manchester to London during the game and crying out for a link.

Ciaran Whelan just put Joe Brolly back in his box there.

Whelan said everyone got caught up in the Dublin hype, Brolly says "I didn't" and Whelan replies "hang on there a second, you described them as a "perfect storm"".

    Brolly left speechless...classic.

I simply couldn't see there being 5 goals today, I'm imagine max 2.

We have a meeting if blanket defended in a sense. Kerry won't leave the open spaces that Dublin did.

    I'll go for DL 1-12 KY 0-13

    DON for me, just!

    DON 2-10 v 1-11 KER

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Very hard to call... Donegal are justifiable favourites after the way they disposed of Dublin. And I'm not sure that Kerry will stop them getting a couple of goals.

But Kerry's inside forward line is top class... Donaghy is in great form, and he's hard to neutralise. With O'Donoghue & Geaney feeding off him. And if Moran and Buckley can knock over long-range points, they have that option too.
