Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

internet on tv??

    have a new tv -4 months old, have horizon box , how easy is it to set up for getting internet on the tv.
    do i call upc or just 'fiddle' with remote till i get it:eek::eek::eek:???

    do i need a specific cable?

    Is it a smart tv? There is no Internet browser on the horizon box.

    If it is a smart TV, you should just need an ethernet cable. If it's not a smart TV you'll need something like a chromecast.

    There are some built in apps in Horizon box. You can use youtube, facebook, twitter etc.

    I have an LG tablet 8" and I bought a gizmo in Harvey Normans app eu35.
    I connected a 5mtr. hdmi cable from it directly to a spare socket on the TV and I have Tons of entertainment. Via wi/fi.
    My router is upstairs in the computer room and I can view internet stuff downstairs no problem.
    I also have a direct cable from the router upstairs to the TV via underfloor trunking but the tablet connection is great.
    I watched a full hour show last night Roy Chubby Brown in Blackpool via wifi.
