    But is there a way to watch the Eircom eVison in a diff room to my modem? 

    As I already have Sky in that room and in a contract, was same deal to sign up for eFirbre and eVision, so I took the TV for spare room

    Yes that won't be a problem, the tv does not need to be in the same room as the modem, the installation engineer will arrange all this for you.

    he has just gone and said I cant

    So I dont want to take up eVision now

    Evision only covers one box/room. You need to order multiroom for additional rooms, It's an extra €6 per month, for more details please discuss this with sales on free phone 1800503303
