Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm 19 and I'm looking into getting my first motorbike. What do you think? Is it practical to get a low cc bike rather than a car, and how is it in terms of insurance especially for someone so young?

Its only yourself can answer your own questions.
Would you prefer a bike ?
What would you use it for ?
Would you use it in all weathers ?

There are different types of bikes because there are lots of different types of people in the world who have different needs for a bike. If we were all the same, there would be just 1 type of bike.

Insurance cost would depend on the insurance grouping for the bike, not the size or cc. At 19, it would be more expensive, but it would be expensive for a car too.

Check cost with the 5 bike insurance companies.
    AXA.
    Liberty.
    Carole Nash.
    Adelade.
    MCE.
