Don't think Disclosure are in the line up

I missed it too. raging. Was so nice at body and soul.

fairly bad system for the eco campsite but it will all work out in the end. it's not some secret club its just a designated area where you can't turn it into a shanty town like the main sites. It'll all be grand.

Totally agree...I waited from 9:00 till 11:00 popped to the shop came back and places full. Gutted! :( Not everyone uses twitter either so that was a bit of a balls also

The top of the EP poster is still quite bare so I reckon with the next announcement there will be a few sub headliners announced around the Grace Jones bit, is Underworld considered a sub headliner, I reckon a few more names for that section as well as afternoon and early evening acts. Then Body & Soul, Rave in the Woods and various others.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

And the line up is already excellent... This is one of the best line ups ive seen for EP

What a fcukin legend! Damon Albarn gets removed from the stage by Roskilde security when he refuses to finish a five hour set. http://www.nme.com/news/damon-albarn/86698

It definitely is, really impressed so far.

Still thinking of selling my ticket though. This will be my 4th or 5th year and I'm finding I don't enjoy it as much as the smaller ones; particularly when compared to Body&Soul with its compact site and the free-flow alcohol policy.

Maybe I'm just getting old

Despite the obvious point that it's never going to happen, Jamie XX closing Body and Soul at 4 on the Monday morning would be utter perfection.

Oh god no, not at that hour, i'd never be able to make it to that

    saturday night would be better

(in the event of him being booked, from looking at his website, he does appear to be free that weekend)

that is quite a nice gap for EP alright!

saw him at Glastonbury last week and it was one of the best gigs of the weekend

Wasn't really a big fan of Jamie XX but he was brilliant at Forbidden Fruit and his album has grown on me since then, would love to see him announced. Don't know if I expect there to be many big more acts announced in the next announcement though, so many big acts already that would be suitable for the main stage or a late slot in the EA. Line up really is packed with quality this year.

i would love Sleaford Mods to be added, looking at their tour dates its possible. Run The Jewels would be great too although less likely.

Must download the Glastonbury set if it's online, only heard of him about a month or so ago, saw the Gosh video, thought to meself "what the hell is this", then listened again, "there's something in this", then after a few more listens "choooooon!". Bought the album, it's been booming in the car for the last two weeks in and out of work

    Looks like it was quality!!

Have to say the BBC really do a
thorough job, a couple of cameras at each stage recording for the entire weekend.

RTE; Never mind that twat McDermott!! But Jenny Greene a fuppin DJ famous for playing 'rhythm is a dancer' year in year out, posted at a largely alternative festival! Bragging that she's been to the EP x-amount of times, never had to wear wellies and has never seen the camp sites!!
It just makes me think of the ****e perks that obviously travel with them, RTE probably have to bring a mobile wardrobe, not to mention catering etc etc I'd say the majority of the budget is used before a single camera is pointed at a stage!

Rather than paying for that poxy RTE tree house, filled with gimps, why not put the funds into more footage. All that's needed is a small point back stage/front of barrier to introduce acts, similar to say Joe Whiley introducing Florence at Glasto this year.

"I re-iterate my point from several pages back. Bbc have Mark Radcliffe , Jo Wiley and Lauren Lavern. Actual djs and in Laverns case a musician too who can present and know their music inside out.

Rte have nothing like that, just bobble headed lite entertainment f**kwits. Even Dave fanning seems to have been hidden away from public viewing.

It goes deeper than presenting though, the producers don't know or give a toss about the bands and music or have been told not to put on anything more disturbin than a bit of dr who spooky sound #3, in the cultural race to the bottom, Rte have actually won by removing anyone from their staff who has a rats arsed notion as to what modern music culture actually is."

I'd say Colm O' Sullivan?! who does the Mixup on Today FM would be really good, and immensely more knowledgeable and watchable than the pleb from the voice.

Yea they should have gotten people like Dan Hegarty or Cormac Battle to do the rte footage programme

Because he was high as a kite. That's just being an arrogant arsehole and creating major hassle for all the crew and security who have to spend hours dismantling everything and working way later than they're supposed to while Damon f*cks off to the bar!

There's always one begrudger. Back in your box, go complain about the noise of gigs near your house or something. Maybe go talk to Joe?

He's an arsehole, full stop. I seem to remember him being an absolute wanker on Jonathan Ross a few years ago. That's always the acid test for me - if you wanna be a prick then do it on your own time. Don't do it while you're simultaneously trying to sell your product on TV.

He's exceptionally talented though and I really admire what he's done for the Honest Jon's record label. Plus Gorillaz were so ahead of their time.

 Obviously you've never worked backstage at any gigs.... I don't have anything against Damon or Blur. I just thought it came across as really arrogant.

That's a bit unnecessary and a bit of a leap?

I've nothing against Blur or Albarn myself and if I was in the crowd I'd probably be loving it but surely you can see the workers side and see that it's pretty selfish, indulgent and egotistical and probably had a knock on effect on multiple people?

    Can't take it! I cringe.

If I had to pick a nostalgia band with a big horn section that could get the crowd moving it would be Blood Sweat and Tears. I believe they are still performing. They are the same band…in the way that this is the same sweeping brush. :-)

How likely are the Frames to be added after they're 'comeback' tour is finished? Also I'd like to see Frank Turner there, he has a new album coming out and is doing some festivals now. While I'm at it throw in a Kendrick/Gambino and I'll be a happy (eco)camper.
