going on all the bands websites
Friday is Sam smith, belle and Sebastian, Interpol, Florence ,

Saturday is George Ezra , blur

Sunday django django (or Saturday) Jurassic 5, tame impala, Interpol

If Sam , Florence and Underworld are on Friday then Blur on Saturday then surely there is one more headliner to come?(Come on Kasabian :P)

Ugh, Kasabian would be a nightmare.

Jesus Friday will be some night.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this method of predicting the running order may not be 100% reliable.

Totally agree but who knows lol! If they all go ahead Friday and sat I've a feeling I'll be wrote off by Sunday.

I'd bet my house on underworld playing Saturday night!!

For me the only slot for Blur that feels right is Sunday night!

    My prediction;
    Fri-Sam Smith
    Sat-Florence
    Sun-Blur

Royal Blood have to be there!! They played here in March, sold out both shows in the Olympia, I see they're playing Leeds and Reading too, also festival republic, so I'm expecting them to be added.

I'm so sick I didn't get a ticket. Enjoy.ill check in after Sept to help ye all out with the post depression.

I did a list last year going by what artists had on their site/FB/agent sites, however it's never reliable (some stick down the first day of the festival and scheduling changes/commitments elsewhere generally alter the final run down).

I'd imagine Blur followed by Underworld will be Sat night and Florence/Sam Smith will close the festival (ideal for day trippers). Could be a Grace Jones or Interpol Friday night.

Clashfinder is a must for days and times of bands. highly reliable, but not created for this year yet.

So what will be the potential reggae legend for the Sunday afternoon on the main stage, would like if EP procured Steel Pulse, any other suggestions out there, perhaps Eddie Grant or Dennis Bovell, I see he is touring for the summer.

I actually quit my job after the Picnic in 2008. I was unhappy in work and simply couldn't force myself to do even one more day. I remember ringing my boss, telling him I'm not putting up with his bullying anymore and that he was nothing only a wanker. I got up, pulled the curtains and let the sunshine hit my face. It felt great.

Any jobs or volunteer work you can apply for still available?

Metropolis Festival Tier 1 and 2 Early Bird tickets sold out in minutes!
Prices for the next early bird are €130...

I was gonna pick up a ticket on tier 1 for €99 but now that it's gonna be €130+ they can feck right off!
I'd say their allocation for tier 1 and 2 tickets was tiny!

Happy too, there were never going to be any huge names in the last release. Le Galaxie, Jape and Parquet Courts for me!

I'll admit that I'm ignorant of a fair few acts there, but from here that looks like the most disappointing announcement since the government declared that they were changing off-licence closing times to 10pm. One or two good ones there but the only things you can be certain of in life are death, taxes, and Le Galaxie playing every festival in Ireland over the summer. They're always very enjoyable but at this stage I don't think they need to be announced any more than fences or burger vans.

nothing there I remotely care about.
