Just seen EP respond to a tweet saying as the bars close at 1am that's when you can bring your drink into the main arena, was really hoping it would have been 11pm like previous years, just means we'll be all sneaking it in.

Did Chic not close on the Saturday night last year preceeded by Portishead?

Just can't see Blur doing anything but closing the main stage

Thats not really how it works at EP especially on saturday night.

The saturday 12.30am is the party set, usually reserved for a big name dance acts , the exception is Chic and George Clinton but those act also fit the mould of party act.

I guarantee ya if you throw Blur on dead last finishing at 2am when everyone is totally inebriated and people just wanna dance, plenty people will lose interest.

    10-10.30pm is perfect for them.

So Hopkins playing Sat at 11 possibly play for 1.5 hours max. Based on previous years I expect Blur to start just after 10 and play for 2hours'ish?

If these times are correct it's a mega clash for me!!

I'm going with blur from 12 until 2 hopkins in ea with underworld afterwards finishing off

Security weren't really strict last year as long as you weren't taking the piss. 5000 extra passing through will probably mean t will be busier at peak times so less of a search

Might be a stupid question, but do these already have juice in them when you buy them or are they empty? Might check out euro giant hear me for them.
    Thanks

Nope, they are empty and have a screw cap so are reusable.

No chance. Blur will do the 12.45 to 2am slot.

Or something similar as an hour and a quarter is prob too little

Don't think you know much about EP if you think Blur will be on that late.

The camping chairs are 10 up there, why does anyone buy before hand and then have to drag them up there???

Watched a game in there before one year but it was done on a laptop using RTE player & then run through a television. Internet was patchy & it made the game almost unwatchable. By the end of each half we were running 10-15 minutes behind the game & the result had already been ruined by someone watching it on their phone. It's worth a look if you want to see the game but don't count on it being reliable.

Camping gear tends to sell out very quickly there maybe? I went looking for pegs last year at 3pm Friday and they were all gone. Found plenty around on the ground though! Most people are not very sensible about putting up guy ropes, people trip over them and pegs go flying.

Only have to bring them from car park to pink moon. Not very far really so would prefer to have them sorted. I would prob have to carry them further if I got them on site to be honest.
