If you've not watched it, Community is on netflix, he's superb in it.

(actually, you should watch it anyway, because it's good)

My e-mail says 27th so it probably has something to do with when you purchased.

I agree with the others, I was still walking out of EP2014 unwashed, starving and wrecked and I got an e-mail on my phone telling me tickets had gone on sale for EP2015 so I am very eager for more announcements. I can wait until 4th March though, that's only next week

it was announced on 27th February last year, not sure about previous years.

for some reason i thought it was when the Spring Equinox is, but that happened in March last year.
the festival has been held during the Summer Solstice the last few years anyway.

Seen that Sea Sessions had their line up out last week and it's the same weekend as B & S, was thinking an announcement couldn't be too far away. Fingers crossed Seasick Steve is at B & S as well.

Halfway through season one right now and I love it! Makes me miss college so much. I went as a mature student, and I swear we had Abed, Pearce and Shirley in our group!

Does anyone know what the story usually is with volunteering for EP? As in, is it just during the festival you work for, or also days before and after etc?

Fire an email to volunteers@electricpicnic.ie, usually you have to do a weekend volunteering the first time round, but the new website I suppose will be up and running around March 4th, so there should be a volunteer tab there as well. You can also apply through the Body & Soul website here http://backstage.bodyandsoul.ie/ to work at the Picnic, if you are lucky you might get work for the advance week, but usually you have to do the weekend in the first year of volunteering.

no, there's still many people who are volunteers. EP post up on fb each year about how to apply, there's a page on the website usually too.
