New Frank Ocean album announced today. EP would be seriously skipping a beat if they didn't book him. He has only played here once before lower down on a crap bill for one of the Marley Park gigs a few years ago. If you've never listened to him Channel Orange is an incredible album.

Complete muck lineup in fairness. Some people won't be happy until picnic becomes another Oxegen.

Wow. That is a pretty ridiculous statement. Oxegen before it finished was a dance festival. There is no dance act on that bill. FFS, John Butler Trio, Libertines, Alt-j, Interpol, Jamie Xx, The Maccabees and Catfish The Bottlemen would be great additions to the EP line up. Arguments could easily be made for the rest of them too. Personally don't like Kasabian but they would also fit in.

On another note Sufjan Stevens new album is incredible. I know there is zero chance of him being added but a guy can dream!

Most of those acts have played/are playing the picnic.
But please, don't let us interrupt your bull****.

A muck line up would be perhaps Rewind Festival in UK. Although there is one or two in there that would fit EP nicely such as Hot Chocolate, The Selecter.

The Victorious Festival in Portsmouth is the weekend before EP, and they have announced a number of great acts that I'd love to see at EP.

    Primal Scream
    The Fratellis
    Johnny Marr
    Mystery Jets
    The Magic Numbers
The Wytches (would absolutely love these guys to get announced, put out one of my favourite albums last year)
    The Flaming Lips
    Basement Jaxx

I think Basement Jaxx are the only out of these that have announced an Irish date this year so far. So fingers crossed we get one, or more of these.

Do acts rarely play back to back years?

Dying for a new announcement to come out, always find so many new bands. Having never listened to Portishead before last years announcement their gig on the Saturday was like nothing I ever could have imagined, unbelievable stuff, best band I seen at EP last year.
