large personal loan

    Does anyone know of any firms doing large personal loans ?


    From research permanent tsb do but interest is very high over 10 years.

    A family member may need to borrow up to 70/80k.

    Anyone know of any other firms doing similar?

    Nope.
    Unless you're remortgaging your house or securing the loan on something that will last over 10 years you're probably out of luck.

    I'm surprised that you have managed together a quote on a 10 year term for a personal loan.
