The stage for Suede looks really cosy or something.

    Stalling a wee bit?

    Something isn't working.....

Aah... No.... Kanye is in a camera rig or something?

Just turned Kanye on there about 20 mins ago, he wouldn't be my cup of tea at all but I think a lot of people are being a bit over the top. Is it just because he doesn't have a guitar that people are saying he is rubbish? The crowd seem fairly into it in fairness. As I said it wouldn't be my thing at all but it is what it is, what did people expect when they heard Kanye West was headlining?

I've never been to Glastonbury but I'd imagine people on here saying it's 'selling out' are slightly exaggerating, surely most of the magic is away from the main stage anyway? Maybe Kanye is disappointing compared to some of the headliners they have had in the past years, but I'm sure it would be a mistake to judge the whole festival on what we are watching on the telly tonight. I'll be waiting to hear the reviews of the boardsies who are over at it before labeling it a failure or sell out.

To be honest, the more I watch he actually is pretty brutal, but I still think people are being overly harsh.

Has Brett been taking the Benjamin Button "Buttons", he looks so freakishly young..............

I was just thinking that, he's hopping and lepping around there like a young fella.

    You think he is miming???????

Well he is not actually performing either when you could hear some of his orriginal lyrics on the backing track. Unless thats changed since I turned over,

Well it does takeaway from the performance when there are no musicians, band, no visable backing, etc, on the stage.

    Anyway, beautiful ones just started.

Showing absolutely no favouritism whatsoever being a huge Suede fan, but Brett and Co. have given 110% to their set, 109% more than Kanye

Suede good enough for the main stage, this is a great performance.

If Suede is so good, why the need to slate Kanye West?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,658 ✭✭✭Halloween Jack

The fact that Brett is getting right down to the front with the crowd while Kanye has himself suspended in the sky above them is instructive....
