Looking forward to The Who tomorrow night

    Fantastic set from Suede :)
They never fail to deliver. It's actually ridiculous how many brilliant songs they have. Of course they've had a couple of dodgy albums over the years but pound for pound they are the most consistent, interesting and talented band of their generation.

West claiming he's the greatest rock star. I caught some of Motörhead's set yesterday, now I don't know a lot of their music, but the drum solo blew West's set out of the water, that's a fu*kin rock star performance.

You seemed way more impresed talking about Suede on BBC4 a few minutes ago Hue.

    :D

    You're right actually.
I do love the white shaggy haired guitarist in Kraftwerk.

What a load of horse****. He was awful. i love hiphop but happen to think it's not the best fit for a headline slot at glastonbury.

Anybody go to Suede's gigs at the Olympia where they played a different album each night in its entirety?

Nope unfortunately...last saw them in the Olympia tough "Bloodsports" tour!!

Insane, I've never seen a set like that. Props to Kanye. This is what I love about this festival, the varied artists that play means you'll always find something to suit your tastes.

Well there was the stage invasion about 3 or 4 songs in

No it's to do with the view that the whole set was a joke. Rapping to backing tracks. Nothing else, there was no discernible transition between songs and he restarted prob 40% of them. A shambles. Between song was as if his DJ was rooting through his CD wallet for the next track. His music is brilliant, his performance tonight was a mess and did not live up to his own hype... He clearly treated the whole gig with contempt like the egomaniac he most definitely is. If you think otherwise, you're deluded.

Listening to the BBC presenters going on about Kanye West. FFS. Jo Wiley wanted to say he was bollocks but obviously not allowed to.

    Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) did.

BS. Rap music has a place without doubt but it ain't on the main stage of Glastonbury. He stunk the place out.
