What are the chances?

    One of my brothers has a permanent job where he earns approximately 450 euro a week after tax. He has savings of around 20k but my question is, what would the chances of him getting a mortgage of 150k?

    I know nobody can answer me for definite but would there be much of a chance of him getting one?

    What's his gross pay? If it was say €700p/w that's c. €35k p.a. and he might be able borrow 3.5 that.

    Thanks for the reply. His gross pay would be around the 550 mark..
