    Two people are being treated in hospital following a stabbing incident at a psychiatric hospital in Waterford last night in which a female patient died.
    A second patient and a staff member, both women, were injured in the attack.
    A man thought to have been a patient at St Otteran's long-term residential psychiatric unit was arrested on the hospital grounds.
    Gardaí are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.


    I thought that Otterans was an old peoples home now?

    I was very surprised to hear that the other patient injured was in her thirties, I've never seen anyone less that 60 in there.
