Business's defrauding Customers?

    Not sure if this is the correct forum or not but just a general wonderment.
    Have there many example's throughout the history of Business where a company has defrauded or basically screwed their customers?

    The reason I ask is a while back there browsing the net I saw some company had a tagline up
    "We have over 250,000 customers,you can trust us"

    No idea what your question and the 'tagline' have to do with each other!

    Yes. And "x customers can't be wrong" style marketing has been used forever. The two aren't linked.
