Hello, myself and 3 other students are moving into a house next week and have to sort out electricity and gas. What is the best deal available to us? Is it possible to get a 9 month contract as we have a 9 month lease on the house.Thanks.

    Hi internet_user,

Thank you for getting in touch with this question. We are currently offering the ValueSaver price plan for new customers. If you have electricity and gas (Dual Fuel), then by opting for Direct Debit and Online Billing you would be eligible for a discount of 12% off both fuels. You can switch online here. We don't offer 9 month contracts, but you would not be penalised for leaving the contact early if you're moving out and closing the account at the end of the academic year. We would only charge an exit fee if you were to switch to another provider in that time.

To set up the account in your name, you'll need the MPRN and GPRN of the properties (your landlord will have these), plus the meter readings from the date you've moved in. Further information for tenants is available on our website.

If you've any questions about the above, please let us know.

    Kind regards,
    Aoife
