    They'd be around the 425-450kg. No have these a few months. Haven't gone out buying a few weanlings yet. Next few weeks hopefully

    I was thinking the same. Or were they just after being let out of a shed, after being cleaned up and groomed?

    I don't think there is a totally sh*t free water bowl. Rump rails etc,, doesn't matter, they'II still fire it in! :D Ours are at the front and would be the first thing checked before feeding. Have a small saucepan that use to clean them out if needs be.

    There was a post a few years ago on about putting a row or two of cavity blocks around the base of the drinker so the cows couldn't reverse right up to them. I've been meaning to try it out, that along with the other 100 long finger jobs!!

    That's the way I have them, same with an 9in by 9in step at the feeding face

    some i know including myself who had rough ground wish they kept it rather than reclaim, mind you id say monsanta wish they had recipe for that

    Little buggers are hard to photograph as they run around like roadrunners but here are our partridge. We have two pairs but the male red ring seems to be fancying the female blue ring :pac:
