Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DVD PLAYER HDMI CONNECTION

    Hello

    I have a problem with my Sony Dvd player (NOT SURE OF MODEL)

    Now it plays fine for around 20 minutes and then suddenly cuts out Power stays on on dvd player ( Saying now hdmi singnal check connections

    Please tell me that my television is not at fault television is still very new under grantee Only helpful replies Please

    Try the following as separate exercises i.e. do one of these at a time, if there's no difference go on to the next step ....

    1. Switch the HDMI cable from the DVD player to a different input on the TV e.g. from HDMI2 to HDMI3

    2. Try a different HDMI cable using the original HDMI port on the TV i.e. the one you normally use for the DVD player

    3. If there's component output on the DVD player and component input on the TV, try that if you can get your hands on a component cable. This is what component looks like, if it works you'll get video (picture) only, you'll also need audio left and right cables also as shown below.
