I thought they were a mistake and they were refusing to sell them?

There was a message on the till that they had to be scanned to be activated (or thats what I was told a few days ago) but it'll go through the till no problem now and there is no need for activation etc.

I picked up a couple for myself earlier today.

Anyone own the new Guardian 4WD? Looks like a monster but has the same top speed as a Sandking. Just wondering if one is better than the other as you can't try it out in the single player, which is usually how I decide if I like vehicles.

I have it. The Sandking XL is better for offroad as it has a higher ground clearance, and for ploughing through cars the Dubsta 6x6 feels a bit heavier and more stable. That said I love how it looks so I don't regret selling my 6x6 for it.

Thanks was trying to decide if I should get one or not. Maybe after I buy the Hydra.

If you want after tough machine for ploughing through cars and stuff you can't beat the insurgent.

Killed a guy for a bounty earlier and he was trying to kill me from a distance. I parked beside his personal car with the back of mine faced him.
He hit me with a rocket, destroyed his own car and got drove off laughing with not a scratch on the insurgent!

He then followed me down the map and tried blowing it up again when I was in getting ammo. Took him 5 sticky bombs and another rocket to blow it up.. then he had to pay 16500 insurance!!

The only things with them are
    1. The 4wd on them is crap and needs to be patched

    2. It's very easy to get shot in them.

I got chased by an Insurgent when I was in my Cheetah and it was able to keep up. Gave me a bit of a scare, had to rely on fancy driving to get away. That said we were down in that waterway type thing that cuts through the middle of the city.

16500 insurance? Sounds like might be a bit of craic to drive in front of peoples rockets. :pac:

Was driving my Karin Sultan around the other day when someone decided to blow me up. 49 dollars to replace it.:D
Happy out because it's a great car when modded going to bring it out more now.

If I remember correctly, if someone blows you up while you are in your car with a bounty, they don't have to pay the insurance. (but neither do you)

If you are not in the car when they blow it up, they have pay for it.

Oh right.. I was allowing they paid it when I didn't.. well it will cost them about 3k in sticky bombs anyway ha!

I'm sure I got charged for destroying personal vehicles when chasing down bounty before??

My philosophy about the new armoured cars when you are on foot.

Insurgent : Heavy shotgun the driver (don't let him reverse and shoot through the back window)

Insurgent pick-up : Snipe the gunner and/or Shotgun the driver... kinda hard to do

    Karuma: Rocket

Maybe they weren't inside their vehicle at the time, you would still get the bad sport warning though.

I might be wrong though... I'll try it out next time I'm online.

They were definitely in it. I was chasing with a car and sticky bombed them.. it's a while ago so it could be changed since

Quick heads up to everyone , the PlayStation Plus 12 month subscription is reduced in argos.

    Now only €14.99

Same price as a 3 month sub.

You have to go in-store to see if they have any left, you cant reserve online.

I sent that link to my pal down in Cavan and he managed to grab the the last three they had instore.
He also managed to reserve 5 more in the Monaghan branch! I'm in two minds whether or not to drive up and grab them, I have the reservation number.

Not being bad but your mates a bit greedy. 2 or 3 fair enough, but reserving 8 is overkill. It's things like that that are the reason I miss out on these bargains because they sell out in minutes, normally because people reserve loads even though they don't need them.

You can only reserve instore. The three he actually bought were for himself, myself and his nephew.

The other five will be fairly dispersed among our friends.
    First up best dressed!

Can't see the point of this anymore.

I sold the game last yr cos I got bored just going online and blowing stuff up for 3 hrs. I bought it again for the heists. It was great! For about 3 weeks and now it's back to blowing stuff up for 3 hrs. Can't get anyone competent enough to finish my Series A funding for the last month. Never seems to be any boards crew on anymore (ps3)

I'll prob just sell it and buy it again when the casino is up and running

I gave up for around a month and then went back on just messing with various glitches I could find online and now rockstar are patching really quickly any money glitches so its getting kinda repetitive again!
Just gonna troll for a few weeks I think

Good laugh dressing up as Avengers last night and fighting crime on the mean streets of LS. Myself (Iron Man), Kenja (Black Widow) and Bryan (Cap America & a sexy Thor). We need a hulk, spiderman and any other comic super heroes. I dint think any randomers were getting a good look at us to realise ego they were up against but a big crowd of superheroes fighting randomers would be a good laugh.

I haven't been on now in about 6 weeks, is there anything new in that time? I was going to renew my PS plus membership today but I went for a run then a cycle instead. I might not bother going on again until October when the weather gets bad again.

No changes since the heist update anyways.

Completed my first batch of hosted setup missions and final heist today. Painful trying to get a group of four people together to play. Not to mention the influx of messages when you get to the actual heist. "Give me xx%", "I want pilot".

It's either give in to their wants or wait another half an hour for people to join.

Having said that, was fun once it was actually started.
