Downloaded on the 360 around 3pm. Got my first disconnect of the day just there. Bought the knuckle duster and gun.

Think I'll be picking up the new Progen T20 and the Coil Brawler. Can just about afford both. If you haven't seen you yet 25% back on a car you purchase in the next week, so I'd make it an expensive one. I think it's the first car you buy gets you the rebate. Progen for me.

Just bought the T20 for my second character, then did dupe glitch with it and sold the original.

T20- $2,200,000
Mods- $282,629
Sold original for- $1,453,450

Total cost for T20 - $1,029,179

Bargain?!

if you do the dupe glitch, can you still mod the dupe? i.e. can you change colour or spoiler or other?

Picked up the Progen and fully modded it, really fast but it doesn't take corners easily. The engine sound mixed with the pop-up spoiler make it worth it. Sounds like an F1 car.

The 25% rebate was mentioned in the release on newswire earlier for the update. I'm on mobile so can't link properly.

I ran the T20 and Osiris around cutting coroners regular and the T20 was 3 tenths faster for me but both cars feel nice and times are very similar.

T20 - 52.4xx

Osiris - 52.7xx

Cool thanks, I never saw that. Will save 550k on the t20 if my maths are correct. Do I just order that first as normal then?

I'm assuming you get charged full wack initially then they refund us by the weekend.

As far as I can tell yeah, it seems you have to be a member of social club, be in a crew and signed up for the newsletter. That's all that you need and you get it automatically on Sunday.

Will be definitely on tonight to purchase me a Blackfin, anyone know how it compares to other Muscles in races? The T20 looks class but I'm holding onto my money until some absolutely epic stuff is added for sale (not holding my breath though)

The two best thus far are probably the Blade and the Dominator. It's probably not as good as the Blade at cornering, but quicker on the straights. And it's probably not as quick on the straights as the Dominator, but definitely better at cornering. I think it'd be up there anyway, I definitely like it and see myself racing in it.

Edit: I see Angry's post there has it at 3rd. Probably not unfair.

Perfect, it looks like a lovely drive-around car but I just want it to be able to keep up on impromptu racing as well. I think the hard top on it looks really slick but think I wil have to go with the topless version.

You get it in hardtop anyway, just remove the top (and put it back on when you feel like it). It does look class without the top, especially when you get the roll cage added. The only thing that should be topless in this game are the women :pac:

Finally got on with Bryan and Gator last night but just couldn't pull the trigger on the Blackfin. I have 1.9 mil and the car with all mods will cost about a mil and I want to kind of keep my money. Might try that dupe car thing to soften the blow.

Although it would probably just take a Blackfin meetup to make me buy one straight away...

There's already a meet organised, you just weren't invited because you don't have a Blackfin. It's called 'Super Fun Happy Times Blackfin Club' and yes, it's as gay as it sounds.

What are you keeping your money for unless it's the T20? I imagine the next update is a long way off - plenty of time to Louis Van Glitsch between now and then. 900k should keep you in stickybombs for a while, plus you'll have a NICE SHINY TOPLESS (ugh) BLACKFIN!

You had me at the Blackfin club but the rest also made sense. That's it I'm getting one! I heard the Casino is opening soon (HAHA) and I want to save my dollars for the slots, I love slots. And also that machine where you drop a coin in the top and watch it fall and try push more coins out, that's the best.
