Saw that other site last night, complete meltdown in one thread. Reminded me of when Sheehy said, nay, PROMISED AND SWORE ON THE LIVES OF HIS GRANDCHILDREN that the casino was coming in the next update.

What's the difference between the Valor and the ordinary Roosevelt? I haven't had a chance to look yet.

Afaik the main/only difference is the new Roosevelt Valor is customizable in LSC.

Thinking of jumping back online with the XB1, (PS3 previous)

Question is, How many updates will I have to download? (I only get 64GB a month, Rural Internet sucks!)

I'm literally in the sticks I live On the bog where I can Watch the Turf dry sure it's great so it is but I've unlimited Broadband and it's running at about 12mb to 15mb which is fiber for me...

Shouldn't be more than 5gb of a download
depending on when ya last updated

XB1 has never had the GTAO updates.

    5GB wouldn't be too bad.

I think it's just shy of 10gb after the last DLC for a full update from scratch. 9.7 or somethin.

Don't be in a rush to buy that new Roosevelt, the Valentine's DLC items are not timed, and will remain in the game.

Question: How long will the GTA Online: Be My Valentine items be available for purchase?

Answer: All content from GTA Online: Be My Valentine will remain available in the game indefinitely.

You can add bullet proof tyres to the standard wheels so you can keep the white wall narrow tyres. All the aftermarket ones don't suit the car in my opinion.

    Love the tommy gun.

Bit dissapointed with the clothes. Didn't see that suit you have. Couple of the outfits are cool.
    Are there any masks?
Only got to play around for few min's after work.

Tried the valor it handles well enough doubt it would be up there in sports classics but I wouldn't mind trying it out around a few tracks.

Yeah a Roosevelt and Valour faceoff race to see if the price difference is worth it.

Last day of the VIP double $s. Made around $300k just farting around in a crew session last night with a few of the lads, going between Sightseer, (that job where you shoot a few fools then deliver the vehicle) and Executive Search. It's handy money, and can be done alone or with your organization.

Watch out for Executive Search though, you have to play out the full 10 minutes to get the cash, unlike Sightseer where I was collecting the 3 packages in around 6-8 minutes ($45/55k). If you're grinding money later I'd avoid Executive Search.

We're getting a new Adversary Mode tomorrow, "TILL DEATH DO US PART"

To download all the updates from scratch on ps4 is about 10gb. That's everything up to date. Usually 1gb updates at a time but heists is about 4.5gb.

I'm in the sticks as well and I have a low monthly limit but it's never really a problem.

While everyone's blabberin on about broadband, I'm ditching the gowls that are Virgin Media. Is Vodafone any use?

Ya, send a few friend requests and join the parties (my gt below). Like Danny says we don't always have BRDS as the active crew, but once everyone is friends (ooooh, FRIENDS!) then we can find each other handy enough. I've compiled a list to make it easier for you to avoid the aggressors/crew killers, also a few of their favourite quotes when they do it:

Lorcy97 "what do you want, fúckface?"
    Padraig ".................."
    daveyharte1988 "Gotcha Frankie, hahahahahahahahahaha"
ProcoJr "You ran into my rocket"

Please rehearse your singing and random movie quotes. Stepbrothers is getting a lot of airplay these days
(you big fat curly headed fúck!)
    :pac:

Been with them for 4 years myself, love the service, got the Fibre in and unlimted download, all that as well as my phone for €55 a month.
They've started doing TV now, I think its something like UPC, will be checking it out soon

Thanks lads, looking at either Vodafone or Eir. Would like a setup where I don't have to pay for the phone, just broadband and telly, but they don't seem to do that. Might just get broadband and one of those android boxes or something. The main thing is the connection to the PS4, though, obviously :pac:

I'd stay away from Eircom if I were you. Always the most expensive for everything and they are just a terrible company on every level. Check the Eircom forum on Boards and you'll see all the complaints and horrible experiences customers have.

I recently switched over to Vodafone from UPC/Virgin, €40 per month for broadband only. Vodafone have just launched a TV package too, think it's €40 for the first six months, then €70/€80 depending on the amount of channels.

I'm with Vodafone too, pretty good experiences so far.
Reliable internet most of the time as well.

We should start a gta Vodafone only thread?? Suggestions???

I got it a few weeks ago. Was offered a free wireless Multiroom and 6 months Netflix. I'm really impressed with the TV. Better than UPC by a country mile.

I recently switched over to Vodafone...

You do realise that Vodafone are simply Eircom resellers (albeit for a little cheaper)? Lines, hardware, tech support, engineers, are all still Eircom.

I have Vodafone Fibre getting 90Mb for €35/month I think and never had an issue. It does reset your IP every night though which is annoying.

I did enquire about TV but was told (by one of their engineers) that getting the TV addon has a big impact on your broadband. It even warns about it in their ad.

What about SIRO? Has that not rolled out yet?

    On topic: GTA is great.

No, still only in the test phase really. It's a great idea though and should have been done 20 years ago. It will mean any house in the country that has electricity can have high speed internet.

What I meant is that Eircom are just a terrible company to deal with in terms of sales, billing, tech support etc, even if Vodafone are just resellers. I never had issues with Vodafone when I was with them, but so many things went wrong with Eircom.
