Id rather if R* said "we're finishing all updates g'luck" rather than coming along with these tedious nonsensical trivial minute pieces of monkey feeces .

At this point, I reckon there's little point in hoping for an 'expansion' DLC, or even something in single player. It's nearly three years since the original release. Like Kesh, I'd be happy if they were upfront about their plans to release anything more substantial. If not, grand. If so, great. I'd gladly pay maybe 20-30 notes for an island to appear off the cost of Blaine County with another city or a few large towns on it and a few more jobs. Feels to me like they haven't maxed the potential of the game yet, even more heists would be massive as that was one of the big selling points originally. So much they could do but they've probably allocated resources elsewhere. If it was a follow-up to RDR, I'd forgive them.

It really is a sign of the times that there's been a new update today and not a single post about it. I like the Tornado, but in no rush to get a Benny's version that'll probably cost between $1-2m. I think I'll wait a few weeks when they'll have a "sale" on them. Also, releasing these 3 new lowriders "one-a-week" sucks imo.

I don't think they'll ever stop updating GTAO, and I'd be surprised if future GTA releases do not incorporate the current map along with whatever they're planning next. It's the quality of the updates that have noticeably dropped off. Of all the new game modes recently I only bother with Sumo and Keep The Pace, the rest - meh.

In no particular order - CASINO! Mission Creator, MOAR HEISTS! The potential of these three alone would add hours of gameplay and freshen it up overall.

ps. Frankie, from some rumours I've read, you'll be forgiving R*....near the end of this year. (

Off-topic - anyone see the PS4 update coming tomorrow? It will allow remote play onto your pc/laptop. Looks very good....assuming it works.

Got it the other day. Bar the lowrider stuff and a livery, there is nothing new on it. Wait, I lied, there are aerials. Absolute waste of money, though I'm not too put out as I've yet to go below 500m, but very nearly there.

Definitely interested in seeing what they do with the Sabre, but wondering if it might take away from my favourite muscle car.

Given PSN has hissy fits every so often and tells you that you sent a message 17 minutes ago when you've literally just sent it, I don't hold out much hope. If you can't get something as simple as the clock right.....

Used it for the first time last night (was watching UFC on tv, but wanted to keep playing The Division)...worked a charm. You just download a small program to connect to your PS4, log in using your PSN details and away you go. No lag or any other nonsense.

Anyway, back to GTA....

I've been watching some new whacky races videos and I'll be giving them a spin later for an hour or so before I go back to the confusion of The Division.

Interesting read if you have a spare few minutes. Supposedly one of the top dogs behind the GTA series is suing the Houser brothers after being tricked and forced out of the company.

Good read BTW could the whole series be fudged now cause of greed and the big corporation trying to release new poop games benzies side basically (son and team) by that read seem to of made the game what it is... And likewise the last 8 months have been crap updates to the online scene...

He probably wanted to start work on GTA 6 or story DLC for 5 and was told "Nah bud, we're racking in the cash here on this GTA:O stuff. Go make some new cars instead." :pac:

It seemed like he took a break after the years of work on GTA V, so was kind of rewarded with a few months off.

It is one side v the other and it's difficult to tell which is telling the truth. I've a feeling both sides have a role in what happened and they're trying to pawn it off on each other.

Well either way. Might explain why we haven't seen much improvement in terms of Dlc since the heists. When did he actually leave the company. I'm guessing at least a year now

Probably had a hand in developing the heists originally, but might explain the reason for nothing decent since. I'd say there's two sides to the story, your man could well have got too big for his boots. Then again, if you sign a deal without reading it thoroughly and you get burned...you've only yourself to blame, really.

This could work out better for gamers in the long run. Benzies could go off and develop some amazing stuff on his own while R* continue with churning out GTA and RDR type games. Conversely, it could mean the end of decent GTA games if 'The Benz' was the mastermind.

Whatever that supposed server maintenance was about it's done nothing to improve the stability of the game. Still as volatile as ever. As riddled with modders as the last gen consoles were at least the lobbies were relatively dependable.

This always happens with rockstar noting new there. They just do these server maintenances for the crack...

There's a glitching thread open somewhere, but I haven't seen any updates in it for a while. Then again, most of the lads I'd play with seem to have given up on the game, so they may not be updating or looking. Reddit is usually a good source, or Se7en Sins. That's how most have come across their bazillions. If anyone says they've done it honestly they're either a liar or an idiot! :pac:

Hopeful/Dreamers Theory: The lack of glitches is due to the rollout of the small updates like the shoddy lowriders, which are watertight, while they're working on testing the new massive update which includes the Casino and down-to-your-balls beards so that glitching is limited on them.

I think your account is connected to your Rockstar account so if you login with the same credentials you can continue from where you left off

New Adversary mode launches today: In & Out (sadly, nothing to do with burgers) is a capture style game mode where Attackers try to steal all 8 packages from "well-armed defenders".



Might give it a spin later if anyone's on.

I never even thought to do that. I kind of wanted to earn my cash honestly. But as everything is so expensive... I might consider it.
