problem with youtube

Every time I load a new youtube video I'm getting the spinning circle in the middle that shows it's loading, but this lasts for about 30 seconds or longer, naturally it's quite annoying to have to wait 30 seconds for every video to start. I tried googling the issue and I'm having no luck, my internet connection is fine…

Anyone know what could be causing it or experiencing the same thing?

edit: ah sorry, I saw a similar thread after posting and changing DNS settings fixed the issue.
