Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sheldon-esque lock recommendations

    Hi guys,

been a while since I've been actively cycling, so decided to get back in the game and got myself an original Klein mountain bike. So with that, I'm looking for recommendations for locks. My only requirement is if being carried, lock would be in a bag on my back so nothing that requires a forklift to move, and that I'll probably need a combination of locks that also involves a cable since both wheels have Hope disk brakes fitted and are quick-release.

    Klein pics please :)

A Kryptonite Mini Evo is a common choice but if you have chunky tyres/rims (?) the shackle might not be long enough. Also depends what exactly you're going to be locking it to.

The larger Kryptonites are quite heavy.

As asked for; picked her up yesterday evening:

Update: Just took it out for a local ride down some river pathways; the bike is very nimble and is quick to accelerate. Only thing I want to do is get some crank bros DH mallets in place of the DMR flats currently attached as I kept feeling like my feet were sitting wrong on the pedals. The brakes (Hope discs) need a bit of a tune up too.
