    Ah that was a quick cutting off from the LLS.

    And Tubridy gives out a prize when a person don't speak on the phone. Oh great stuff. :rolleyes:

    Congrats to that person anyway.

    What's the story with the competition rules. Every week (in fact, twice or three times a week) DLB explains the rules: we'll call you at the end of the show, and if you don't speak to us you don't get the money.

    So last week they never bothered their ar5es ringing, and this week the person pocket-answered.

    To think they make tens of thousands of profit with this 5hit - they should at least follow their own rules.

    Hang on hang on hang on. Back a few steps. I can't remember the wording used exactly, but when James Blunt told the story of his sister's wedding, did Tubridy say what a lovely funeral story, instead of wedding story?!

    There should be an FAQ section for this thread, and this would be the only question in it:

    Apparently Rhys Ifans called Tubs a "Dainty Little Buggah" on the LLS once, and it stuck (on this thread anyway)
    Mr. Ryan 'Tubs' Tubridy!

    Aka Dainty Little Bugger

    An honour bestowed upon him by guest Rhys Ifans

    I'll take it this time...

    That fella out of Notting Hill (no, the other fella) was on a few years ago, and called Tubbs a Dainty Little Bugger (or thereabouts).

    It stuck, around here anyway.
    DLB = Ryan Tubridy

    A nickname sprung from a few seasons ago when Rhys Ifans got cranky with Tubridy and called him a Dainty Little Bugger

    Yeah, but the sister was heading to Cork for a funeral, that's why she needed transport.

    Isn't it Tubs' own money to give away? And doesn't the lovely and kind Derek Mooney give away his own money too? We should be grateful, especially when Tubs gives a free bit of primetime advertising 'for everyone in the audience". Bless!!!!!
