Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How many fouls by City ?

9 now I'm sure. Navas should be booked.

Wilshere spends more time on his arse than he does upright, why does he fall over so much?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,747 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

    9 fouls to 2, nice.

Have to wonder how people are criticising Wilshere, been our best player along with Sanchez, Ramsey has been horrid.

    Sanchez has looked dangerous.

Sorry for going out drinking and sleeping in. God mam.

ffs Ozil, good break came to nothing there.

    Lazy from Ozil

    Ozil is piss poor.

    Ozil is having a shocker

Ozil has been immense, for the opposition.

"Danny Welbeck nearly got a hold of it for Arsenal." That's gonna be a common line til Giroud is back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,951 ✭✭✭✭_Kaiser_

From all I've seen of him since he joined Arsenal, Ozil really doesn't seem to have lived up to the hype

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

City happy to give free kicks outside the box. We never do anything with them

Very good opening 20 minutes, need to get back running and closing down again. Started stepping off as the half went on.

Pretty confident we'll get back into it though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,747 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

    Well done you.

You just took a ridiculous swipe at a player for not getting control of a ball bouncing around a packed box, taking that as something to go forward with, not his good movement or nice play early on. Nice one mate, great ****ing analysis.

We should be attacking down the left more. Has the look of a red card for city if Alexis keeps going as he has been doing.

He was excellent for the first 30 minutes, but a couple of mis-placed passes and shots at the end blotted his copy book

I thought we played pretty well after the goal, controlled the game pretty well. Milner, Silva, Kompany, Navas and Kun all playing well. Need to cut out the fouls though. Sanchez and Welbeck the only players who look lively for arsenal.

Playing Ozil out wide is a real waste

Why are you bothering can I ask?

I really, really wish Welbeck's chip had gone in. Feckin' Aguero...

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

Goal came from nothing really, but nobody tracked Aguero. Good job we dont need a box to box midfielder. We can get back in to this, need to get Özil off that wing and into the centre. Put Chamberlain out wide. Goal has completely knocked the stuffing out of us.

Are you his mother or something?
All the stuff people said about Welbeck still applies even if he has joined Arsenal. He's being played in a way that doesn't suit him whatsoever yet it looks like Wenger is happy to play him there.
Yay he moved and almost got the ball. Reaching for the stars.

Jack Wilshire really needs to stop believing he is a hard man and just play the game.

    Fixed that for you :)

Same old Arsenal so far. Too early to pass judgement on Welbeck.

I'm more pissed off with Arsenal having to put up with flamini + Monreal.

Not sure how he hasn't been booked yet. Constantly throwing himself to the ground, and also having a kick out at a City player. Yet Zabba gets a card for a routine foul.

Seriously, is it in fashion for people just to slate jack and think they look like a great pundit.

Has been arsenals best player so far.

Monreal has been good so far, goal wasn't his fault whatsoever, stop using the easy scapegoats.

What about milner and navas constant fouls?

Oh so being fouled is a bookable offence now ? May get on Sanchez to see red so

Never said they didn't, did I? I was responding to a particular comment about Wilshere.

Nasri on for Lamps, good to see. Save Lampard for the Carling cup.

    Wilshere has been outstanding today.

Doesn't take an outstanding playing to play in front of a defence to do an excellent job.

Monreal has been one of our best players this season.

Will somone tell Ozil the game has started.......I was looking forward to this game and we started well, but since the goal went in , We've gone back into our shells and the game feels dead already

    Great interception by Kompany there.

But there was nobody at home when City broke down the left.
Monrael too fond of attacking and leaving space behind.
The goal was down to Flamini but there was still nobody at home on the left.

Ozil is starting to look like a bigger waste of money than Andy Carroll.
