    Hey guys,

Looking for any tips as regard iPod Touch Repair in the city. The audio jack is (I think) loose and the screen needs replacing. Preferably looking for a place that is cheap and, you know, good :P

    Thanks!

Theres a place called ATmac on Penrose Wharf that specialise in apple repairs. Heard good and bad about them. Good that they're a nice bunch, bad that they're expensive.

Theres also CompuB on Opera lane. Not sure if they're just sales though.

Also http://corkcomputers.ie/ Seem to do Apple repairs too.

i-Electron on Cook Street are really good, and I'm 99% sure they do iPods too. Been there a few times and literally never had a problem.

Also try www.repairit.ie in Douglas village for a price too.

A 2nd hand one might be a better option depending on what model or size you have. Theres an 8gb 2nd generation touch on adverts for €70. Youd probably get it for €55/60.
Ring around some of the repair shops and get a quote. Put iphone repairs into the search on golden pages. Most places will do a touch too if they fix iphones.
Its something to think about anyway.

Agree, did a repair job on my mates Canon recently, I had no hesitation handing in a faulty Tokina 11-16mm lens which they repaired in 24 hours

Yeah, they are a good crowd, fast service.
I got my iPod Touch repaired there a few months ago.
Although as mentioned above if it needs a new screen and jack it may be just as cheap to get a second hand one, hows the battery?
