Villa have defended superbly to be fair. Have got numerous blocks and tackles in. Still crap from Liverpool mind. Made Senderos look like Baresi.

Absolutely. Villa certainly not lucky to be winning this game at all. They have defended well and Liverpool have not had enough to break them down or create much at all. Fair play to them.

Tactically inept today, rest sterling for the champions league, the premier league is the bread and butter take care of that first.

I'm losing patience with Sakho, I don't care if he's a French international so was Stephane Guivarch, this guy looks like he ****s his pants every time the ball comes towards him and he's not facing forward.

I really hate time wasting too, no point for mason to point at his watch every time, start dishing out the yellow. But that's more of an aside.

Coutinho is playing far too deep, Lambert is a lemon, Sterling should have been on from the start, and why aren't we running the ball into the box? These shots from distance and long balls are just wasteful.
